Choose the Best Day Care Center for your Child in Coquitlam

Choosing the best daycare centre is easy if you know some basic things about it. What questions to ask to the management, what to look for and what to expect from a quality infant care centre.

Visit in Person
It is always advisable to visit the center and meet the director and other staff. When you personally visit the center, you can see how things really work. If you prefer to just talk over phone, you cannot really get the real picture of the school.

In your personal visit, you can observe how teachers manage toddlers and children of different age groups. You can see how the staff takes care of these kids. If you can keenly observe, you can also figure out if individual attention is given to children or not.

Child-Teacher Ratio
It is important to have a perfect child-teacher ratio. In a Toddler class of 12-15 students, at least one qualified teacher, with an ECE educator and ECE assistant should be present. In case of a full Day Montessori or Kindergarten class of 15-20 students, two ECE & Montessori qualified teachers with and ECE assistant should be present. Although there is no hard and fast rule of the number of teachers and students, the main motto is to see that no child is neglected.

Safety Comes First

Best daycare in Coquitlam ensures optimal security of children. Children are at times very unpredictable and can hurt themselves while playing or participating in the fun activities. When you decide to enroll your child in a Montessori school, make sure that the play areas are safe and the school should be able to tackle any emergency situation.
